Tuesday, September 12, 2017 3:00 pm
In-person | New York, NY
Foundation Directory Online Professional and Foundation Maps are easy-to-use premier data tools that help nonprofits find great grants and partners in philanthropy. This orientation provides a general overview of both products. You will learn how to find a Foundation Center Funding Information Network partner in your community who provides free onsite access to these tools. Attendees will compare the differences between using the Foundation Directory Online Professional database and Foundation Maps, our data visualization platform, to find foundation partners locally and worldwide. Time is available at end of orientation for attendees to explore both tools on laptops in our New York library. If you bring your own laptop, you are welcome to click along with the instructor during the orientation. WiFi is available.
It is advisable, but not necessary, to allow for time after the class for using the library at your own pace.
Registrants requiring disability-related services are asked to contact Foundation Center by calling (212) 620-4230. Please allow at least two weeks advance notice so that we may best accommodate your request.
Please arrive on time or your seat may be given away to others who are waiting to attend. The location is wheelchair accessible.
