Speaker: Cara Mitchell-Whelchel, Dunlap, Jarrard & Walker, LLP
Cara R. Mitchell is a partner whose areas of practice include corporate law, health care, and business and estate planning. She earned a B.S. from the University of Arkansas in 1987 and an M.S. from Georgia Tech in 1989, both in microbiology. Ms. Mitchell was employed as a science writer and as an industrial engineer prior to returning to law school at the University of Georgia School of Law. There, she served on the Georgia Law Review and earned her law degree cum laude in 2003. She has recently completed a term on the Board of Directors of the North Georgia Community Foundation. Her nonprofit clients range from small “startups” to large, well-established organizations.
